Sinead McGurk Opticians continues to lead the way, having invested in the latest futuristic technology for our National award winning practice in Magherafelt.  Our Zeiss Visufit 1000  is one of the first to be installed in Ireland, and one of only a few in the UK.

Following your frame selection, we record precise digital 3D measurements with the ZEISS VISUFIT 1000.  It’s 9 synchronised cameras provide a full 180° image. Measurement data is processed using 45 million points. This optimises the optical performance of your finished lenses in your glasses, enhancing your vision to be it’s exceptional best. 

What does the Zeiss Visufit 1000 do?

Records precise measurement of back vertex distance, pupillary distance, frame wrap, fitting heights, frame fit and pantoscopic tilt for bespoke, individualised lenses.

Frame comparison:

The images taken offer a detailed perspective to your chosen frames. The highly accurate 3D images produced enable you to closely compare various  frames, before selecting a pair. 

Simulating lenses

With our ZEISS VISUFIT 1000, we are able to simulate a range of lenses onto the 3D image created. This enables us to show you the various coating and tint options available to you with your chosen frame.

Socially distant benefit

We can carry out the precision dispensing whilst we are also adhering to the social distancing that is currently recommended.
